The Carrie Diaries Pilot Confirmed on CW Network

I'm your host, Deidre Behar, here in our Hollywood headquarters, and all you Carries, Samanthas, Charlottes, and Mirandas out there are gonna wanna hear this!

The CW network has CONFIRMED an order for a PILOT episode of "The Carrie Diaries." Now, in case you're unfamiliar with the title, the show will be based on the book by the SAME gal who created "Sex and The City," the ever-talented, Candace Bushnell. 

Of course, the show will be set in New York City, but will take place in the 1980's! We'll see a young Carrie exploring the CRAZY world of high school, as she juggles love, friendship, and family.

Now, there's no word on the cast just yet, but the behind the scenes team is PRETTY STELLAR!

Amy Harris, who worked on HBO's "Sex and the City" series, will be joined by the same duo that brought us "Gossip Girl," Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

But I've gotta ask the obvious question at hand: Who would YOU cast as a young Carrie Bradshaw??

Fans online have been strongly rooting for Emma Roberts, Ashley Tisdale, Miley Cyrus, and Dianna Agron, but I want to know what YOU guys think!
